A series of invisible sculptures and art installations have invaded Melbourne’s public spaces and cultural institutions as part of a new genre of artistic expression.
The show, (Un)seen Sculptures is curated and produced by web developer, Warren Armstrong and presented by the Australian Centre for Virtual Art.
Using Layar, a purpose-built downloadable app for smart phones, art-seekers are able to discover the transformation of the real-world locations into interactive installations designed by local and international artists.
icon.pr is thrilled to be involved with the show and is excited by this growing artistic genre – mobile augmented reality.
Check out the website for more info and locations, www.unseensculptures.com- there are even tips to create your own 3D digital artwork if you’re feeling inspired.
