We are extremely pleased to unveil the new name, logo and identity for the Australian Community Workers Association. Previously known as the Australian Institute of Welfare and Community Workers (AIWCW). ACWA engaged Icon to complete a brand overhaul including the name change.
We undertook a number of workshops with key stakeholders to establish a new simplified name and their brand positioning, we then developed and presented logo designs based on outcomes of these workshops, 2 possible final logos were chosen and the stakeholders were then given the opportunity to vote for their favourite design via an online poll. The outcome was a clean logo which encompassed an Australian colour palette that depicted a ‘down to earth’ attitude and referenced the Australian landscape, with warm friendly tones.
An extensive style guide has been produced and we are excited about continuing our work with ACWA.
